Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and well equipped, offering a lovely view of the walled garden, but unfortunately, they were very cold. The service ranged from very welcoming and special care for dietary needs to being under a lot of pressure, resulting in long waits for replenishing food. The location was delightful, ideal for celebrating special occasions, with pleasant seating and a beautiful garden view. The dining experience was a mix of fabulous breakfast and good meals, but some options were lacking. Overall, a stay with positives and negatives.
The hotel has clean and spacious rooms, but the bed was very small and the carpet was disappointing. The service was friendly and helpful, but the manager was not available to address our complaints. The location is charming, with cows next door, and there are lovely activities nearby such as cycling in Boora Park. The dining experience left much to be desired with cold coffee and limited options. Overall, the hotel offers comfortable rooms and a pleasant atmosphere, but some improvements are needed in service and dining.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms felt a bit outdated with some noise issues, but the staff was quick to address the issue the next day. The service, especially during our wedding reception, was exceptional, but the dining options left something to be desired. The location was convenient for exploring the town and nearby historical sites, with some hidden charm. However, there were slight cleanliness issues in hidden places.
The hotel offers warm and comfortable rooms, but the outside fans running through the night affected our sleep. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond and being friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for exploring the town of Birr and nearby attractions, although it is a little outside the town. The dining experience left something to be desired at times, with occasional lapses in quality. Overall, a good value for money stay with great service and spacious rooms.
